#225: "Common American Crow", by John James Audubon, 1861 edition. This is an original, hand colored lithograph from the 1861 Octavo Edition of Audubon's "Birds of America". Size: Approximately 6.5 x 10.5 inches. This is a lovely, rare lithograph. View: "Common American Crow" by J.J. Audubon.

#16:"Fruit Crows" circa 1835 A beautiful large original hand-colored engraving circa 1835, after the work of well-known naturalists Baron Cuvier, Oliver Goldsmith, Alexander Wilson and others. This engraving is from volume I (1835-1839) of The Edinburgh Journal of Natural History and of the Physical Sciences, conducted by William MacGillivray. It has sharp detail and crisp coloring. Please note the size of this engraving since it is rare to find animal engravings this large. Size: 9.25 x 13.5 inches. Condition: Slight foxing as seen in image, mainly in the margins. #23: "Crow, Raven and Magpie", 1844. An original hand colored stone lithograph from James DeKay’s "Zoology of the State of New York", published in 1844. The images of the birds were painted by John W. Hill, and lithographed and hand colored by the Endicott firm of New York. The print measures 8 3/4" x 11", and is in good condition with bright, original hand color. It depicts a Raven, a Crow, and a Magpie. PRICE: $30.00 (S&H included) View: "Crow, Raven, & Magpie"

#24: "Raven", 1881. This is an authentic 1881 edition bird color lithograph from Jacob Studer's, "Birds of North America" folio. This date is from the second printing in 1881, first published in 1871. The collection was presented by the Natural Science Association of America. Studer was the Author of the accompaning text. The prints were done from drawings from life by Theodore Jasper who made the study of ornithology his life work. The original collection was revised by John Grahm Bell, Audubon's companion in the field. This print is of the Raven, Canada Jay and the Robin. It measures 14 3/4" X 11".There is a 1" blank white border around the color image that is too large to be included in the scan. PRICE: $30.00 (S&H included) View: "Raven"

#2: "Crow", by Y. Davis. The origin and history of this artwork is unknown. It is 13" x 16", and is a very detailed pen and ink drawing of a somewhat fanciful crow. We cannot tell if it is an original drawing or a limited edition print. It is signed Y. Davis in the same black ink as the drawing and "crow" and "73" are written in pencil near the crows feet. The original has sharper and crisper lines than the scanned image. Take a look. It is quite a pleasing work. Not matted or framed. PRICE: $40.00 (S&H included).SOLD View: "Crow" by Y. Davis.

The low res. scan really does not do justice to this most attractive engraving . On heavy grade paper and in near mint condition.
